If you are currently using Facebook Lives you are probably all to familiar with the awkward screen grabs they randomly choose as the thumbnail for your business. There is nothing worse than putting your heart and soul into a live and having people see this before they push play…
Did you know that you can create your own custom thumbnails to use as the play screen on your Live videos? This will make a HUGE difference! So, lets get to it!
Create your graphic
First things first, you need to create your graphic. I like to use Canva or PicMonkey for this. Use the blank Pinterest graphic template for this. The dimensions are perfect. You can create any sort of graphic you like.
It can use your face.
Or you can just use text.
Upload it to Facebook
Once you’ve created your graphic you are going to upload it to the Live video. To thisHead over to your Facebook Business Page
1- Head over to your Facebook Page
2- Go to your Videos
3- Select the video you want to edit.
4- Click the three dots in the corner and select edit video
5-Click on Thumbnail section
5- Select “Add Image”
6- Select the image you want to up load.
7- Save and you’re done!
This is a very easy step that will take your Facebook Lives to the next level!
